"We were a group of nine friends on an inaugural 28-day tour through Albania, North Macedonia, Kosovo, and Montenegro. Mike and his team put together a wonderfully comprehensive itinerary. As this was the first time such a long trip had been run, we found that nothing was too much trouble and Mike stayed with the tour for its entirety. We saw and experienced so much — not just the main sights, but also several immersive experiences that were truly fantastic. Our driver was amazing and we always felt very safe. Balklands is very professional and will go the extra mile to make sure a trip is the best it can be."

"Excellent tour. I was made to feel special right from the go, as I received a very warm welcome. I learnt so much of the history of the Balkans and was introduced to places I had never heard of. The restaurant choices choices were wonderful. I learnt to eat and appreciate local food All guides were amazing but I loved Viktor in North Macedonia because of his friendly and quiet personality. Mike was amazing as a tour leader, who made sure everything was up to standard . He also checked that I was having a great experience. Ivan our drive is one of the best. To Tiana and Ivan the photographers who accompanied us, thank you for ensuring I had the best time. Your photographs and videos are very special. My highlights, way to many to mention but Kotor, Postajne caves, Tirana, Skopje and Sarajeva were some but for different reasons. Would I book Balkland again definitely. The experience is what counts and I really learnt to appreciate the varied countries and gained a small insight into their beauty and history."

"Wow - what can I say!! Everything we did was fantastic. We achieved so much in such a short time - 21 days. The itinerary was broad and comprehensive. The sites were very interesting and has convinced us to complete the rest of the few Balkan countries we haven’t yet seen and visited. Mike was fantastic, as was Zulfo. Always polite and upbeat and ready to share their knowledge. Our daily guides were very professional and knowledgeable. Our driver Milan was the most polite man possible and an absolute gem. "Exceeded expectations. Our tour was planned to focus on UNESCO sites and Medugorje. That promise was fulfilled and more. It was a combination of history, culture, sights and especially faith. There were no tourist traps and we appreciate that. We even went and visited where the locals would go to eat, relax and spend time. The Medugorje segment of the tour is something to treasure and cherish for a long time, maybe the best spiritual experience for me. Thank you Mike, Marko and Amar for a wonderful tour and I pray that you be blessed with more graces from above.
