Approximately an hour away, this bridge is a marvel of classical Turkish architecture, originally built in 1682. Spanning the Neretva River, the Old Stone Bridge not only represents a bridge across waters but also across time. Restored to its former splendor after its destruction in 1945, it was reopened on May 23rd, 2009. Be sure to capture the beauty of this site, where history and nature blend seamlessly.
Tito’s Nuclear Bunker
Next, delve into the Cold War era with a visit to Tito’s Nuclear Bunker (Facility D-0 or ARK D-0).
