Itinerary (Day Wise)
Begin with the Tunnel of Hope (War Tunnel) museum area, a key site for understanding daily life and survival during the Siege of Sarajevo. Your guide frames what the tunnel was, how it functioned, and what remains accessible today.
Depending on timing, you’ll also stop at Sarajevo Roses—shell-impact scars filled with red resin—placed where civilians were killed, offering a quiet, factual memorial layer within the city.
Yellow Fortress Viewpoint & Trebević Cable Car
Continue to the Yellow Fortress area for a city-wide overlook and a better feel for Sarajevo’s valley layout. Then ride the Sarajevo cable car to Mt. Trebević for a higher vantage point at the Trebević lookout area—time for photos, fresh air, and an easy pace before returning to the city.
