Itinerary (Day Wise)
On arrival at Split, Dubrovnik, or Sarajevo airport, you’ll be met by your driver and transferred to Medjugorje. After check-in, enjoy a relaxed evening to settle in and prepare for the pilgrimage days ahead. Medjugorje has welcomed pilgrims from around the world since the reported Marian apparitions in 1981, and the atmosphere is distinctly calm and devotional.
In the evening, gather for a welcome dinner at your hotel.

Things to consider before the trip!
Transport
Airport pickup is provided on arrival into Split, Dubrovnik, or Sarajevo (as specified in your booking). Ground transportation during the tour is by comfortable coach or minibus, depending on group size. If you arrive into Split or Dubrovnik, the tour typically concludes with drop-off at the same airport. The route may have minor adjustments depending on the arrival airport to keep timing smooth and comfortable.
Pilgrimage Program in Medjugorje
Days in Medjugorje are designed for a personal spiritual rhythm. The on-site program is coordinated locally and may be shared/confirmed on arrival depending on parish times and group pace. Your Balkland team remains available for support throughout the stay.
- Key sites include St. James Church, Apparition Hill, Cross Mountain, and moments of prayer/community gatherings.
- Optional devotional walks can be adjusted based on fitness and weather.
Documents & Travel Insurance
- Passport: Valid for at least 6 months from arrival (recommended) with sufficient blank pages.
