Day 1: Welcome to Albania – Tirana Arrival & Cultural

Your journey begins in Tirana, Albania’s vibrant capital. Upon arrival, our friendly BALKLAND team greets you at the airport and handles everything—from transfers to a relaxing check-in.

Day 2: Castles, Mountains & Traditions – Kruja to Shkodra
Begin the day with a visit to Kruja Castle, the former stronghold of Albania’s national hero, Skanderbeg. Wander through local bazaars and step into a bygone era at nearby museums.
We continue with a scenic countryside drive to Shkodra, where we explore the mighty Rozafa Castle and take a relaxing lakeside stroll in Shiroke. Overnight stay in Montenegro.
Day 3: Montenegro’s Coastline Magic – Budva, Perast & Kotor
Start with a quick city tour of Podgorica, followed by a stunning drive along Skadar Lake. Stroll the medieval streets of Budva, take a boat to the magical Our Lady of the Rocks islet in Perast, and explore Kotor’s UNESCO-listed Old Town.As the sun sets, we journey into Croatia and settle into the charming city of Dubrovnik.
Day 4: Croatian Wonders – Dubrovnik & Waterfalls in Bosnia
Discover the Old Town of Dubrovnik, walking along ancient walls and visiting landmarks like Pile Gate, Onofrio’s Fountain, and the Rector’s Palace.
Later, cross into Bosnia & Herzegovina and spend the afternoon at the beautiful Kravica Waterfalls. Wrap up the day with an evening stroll through Mostar’s iconic Old Bridge.
Day 5: Ottoman Echoes – Mostar to Sarajevo
Explore Mostar’s historic core, then travel to Sarajevo with scenic stops in Jablanica and Konjic—perfect for history lovers and photographers alike.
Once in Sarajevo, breathe in the fresh mountain air at Vrelo Bosne Park before diving into the city’s soul with a guided walking tour of Baščaršija, the Latin Bridge, and other historic sites.
Day 6: Hidden Gems – Travnik, Jajce & Plitvice Lakes
Uncover lesser-known treasures like Travnik, with its fortress and Ottoman charm, and Jajce, home to a unique waterfall in the town center.
Cross back into Croatia and spend the night near Plitvice Lakes National Park, preparing for a nature-filled day ahead.
Day 7: UNESCO Beauty & Slovenian Culture – Plitvice to Ljubljana
Explore the breathtaking Plitvice Lakes, with their emerald waters and cascading falls—a true highlight of the Balkans.
Afterward, head into Slovenia and discover the capital city of Ljubljana, including a visit to Ljubljana Castle and a charming canal boat ride on the Ljubljanica River, all included with BALKLAND.
Day 8: Alpine Dreams – Lake Bled, Postojna Caves
Begin your day at Lake Bled, where you’ll visit the clifftop Bled Castle and take a traditional Pletna boat to Bled Island.

Day 9: Croatia – Zagreb in a day

Stroll through lively Tkalčićeva Street before heading to Upper Town to see St. Mark’s Church and Lotrščak Tower. Enjoy a traditional Croatian lunch. In the afternoon, check out the Croatian Museum of Naïve Art and unwind in Zrinjevac Park.

Day 10: Departure from Zagreb
